Concurrently, Australia continues to commit trillions to unproven CO2 emissions reductions schemes and policies whose results over many years could be entirely offset by the actions of countries it clearly doesn’t trust in a matter of weeks. And that’s regardless of the science of rising CO2 levels, which is looking a bit shaky after another freezing Northern Hemisphere winter…
If we are trusting these countries to reduce their emissions over the long term, to the extent that Australia’s entire Net Zero effort will be utterly useless in influencing the global climate if any single large country simply builds a few extra coal plants from time to time, as they tend to do, then why aren’t we trusting them to be nice on a military level, and why do we need defense capabilities at all?
Ridiculous, of course, but the point is that the Net Zero bullshit that relies completely and utterly on full global cooperation (as the wankers at the annual COP orgies like to pretend is possible) to be effective in any way (and even then could make absolutely no difference to anything) is about as likely as the USA withdrawing all of its forces from foreign territories…
Yeah, totally coherent and rational…
Geopolitically courageous and strategic…
The hits just keep coming…
NOTE FOR THE HARD OF SARCASM: This is an argument against government hypocrisy and for freeing ourselves from random fossil fuels restrictions, enabling all human societies to develop as quickly as possibly and ‘protect’ themselves from the Earth’s naturally dangerous climate, no matter what the CO2 levels are… Because the global cooperation required to enact Net Zero plans is clearly not possible and never was… That’s reality.
